SN74HC573ADWR TI Latches

The SN74HC573A is an octal transparent D-type latch with 3-state outputs, operating from 2V to 6V supply. When latch enable (LE) is high, data passes through to outputs (transparent mode); when LE is low, data is latched. Output enable (OE) places outputs in high-impedance state for bus sharing. The 'A' version offers improved performance over the original HC573. Propagation delay is 20ns typical at 5V. The device provides high drive capability and low static power consumption. Selection is ideal for high-speed CMOS systems requiring transparent latching for bus interfaces. Applications include I/O port expansion, address latching for microprocessor systems, bidirectional bus interfaces, temporary data storage, and LED segment driving in industrial controls, consumer electronics, and telecommunications equipment.
