SN74HC573AN TI Latches
The SN74HC573A is an octal transparent D-type latch with 3-state outputs, operating from 2 V to 6 V supply. When the latch enable (LE) input is high, data passes through to the outputs (transparent mode); when LE is low, the data is latched. The output enable (OE) places all eight outputs in a high-impedance state for bus sharing. Propagation delay is 20 ns typical at 5 V, with high drive capability of ±6 mA at 5 V. Packaged in a 20-pin PDIP for through-hole mounting, this latch is ideal for address and data latching in microprocessor systems. Applications include I/O port expansion, address latching, bidirectional bus interfaces, and temporary data storage in industrial controls and consumer electronics.
