SN74HC595NSR TI Shift Registers

The SN74HC595 is an 8-bit serial-in, parallel-out shift register with storage register and 3-state outputs, operating from 2V to 6V supply. It features serial input, serial output for cascading, and asynchronous master reset. The storage register outputs are 3-state for bus sharing. Propagation delay is 12ns typical at 5V. The device provides high drive capability and low power consumption. Selection is ideal for expanding output ports on microcontrollers with minimal I/O pins.
