SN74HC74N TI Flip Flops
The SN74HC74 is a dual positive-edge-triggered D-type flip-flop with independent preset and clear inputs, operating from 2 V to 6 V supply. It provides true and complementary outputs (Q and Q-bar) for each flip-flop, with low static power consumption of 40 µA maximum. Propagation delay is 17 ns typical at 5 V. High output drive capability supports bus driving. Packaged in 14-pin PDIP for through-hole mounting, this flip-flop is ideal for general-purpose data storage and frequency division in high-speed CMOS systems requiring through-hole packaging. Applications include state machine registers, data storage, frequency division, shift register implementation, and data synchronization in industrial controls, computing peripherals, and consumer electronics requiring dual edge-triggered flip-flops with preset and clear.
