The SN74HCT139 is a dual 2-to-4 line decoder/demultiplexer with TTL-compatible inputs. It operates from 4.5V to 5.5V and features two independent decoders in one package, each with active-low outputs. Each decoder includes two address inputs (A and B), an active-low enable input, and four active-low outputs. Propagation delay is 19ns typical at 5V. Selection is ideal for address decoding in mixed TTL/CMOS 5V systems. Applications include memory address decoding, data demultiplexing, peripheral selection in microprocessor systems, and logic function generation in computing and telecommunications equipment.
