SN74HCT573PWR TI Latches

The SN74HCT573 is an octal transparent D-type latch with 3-state outputs and TTL-compatible input thresholds, operating from 4.5V to 5.5V supply. When latch enable (LE) is high, data passes through to outputs; when LE is low, data is latched. Output enable (OE) places outputs in high-impedance state for bus sharing. The device provides high drive capability suitable for bus-oriented systems. Propagation delay is 18ns typical at 5V. Selection is ideal for 5V mixed TTL/CMOS systems requiring transparent latching. Applications include I/O port expansion, address latching for microprocessors, bidirectional bus interfaces, and temporary data storage in industrial controls and telecommunications.
