The SN74LS07 is a hex buffer and driver featuring high-voltage open-collector outputs rated at 30V, capable of sinking up to 40mA. It operates from 4.75V to 5.25V supply, making it compatible with most TTL families. Inputs are diode-clamped to minimize transmission-line effects, simplifying design. Typical power dissipation is 140mW, and average propagation delay is 12ns. The open-collector outputs enable wired-AND connections and interface with high-level circuits or drive high-current loads. Selection is ideal for driving relays, lamps, and LEDs in 5V TTL systems.
