SN74LS373N TI Latches
The SN74LS373 is an octal transparent D-type latch with 3-state outputs and TTL-compatible inputs, operating from 4.75V to 5.25V supply. When latch enable is high, data passes through to outputs; when low, data is latched. Output enable places all eight outputs in high-impedance state for bus sharing. Propagation delay is 24ns typical. High drive capability supports bus driving. Selection is standard for 5V TTL bus systems requiring octal transparent latching. Applications include I/O port expansion, address and data latching for microprocessor systems, bidirectional bus interfaces, and temporary data storage in industrial controls.
