The SN74LV541A is an octal buffer and line driver with 3-state outputs, offering non-inverting buffering with two active-low output enable pins for flexible control. It operates from 2V to 5.5V supply and features high output drive capability of ±16mA at 5V with propagation delay of 7.5ns typical. Quiescent current is 20µA maximum. The SN74LV541A is ideal for driving highly capacitive or relatively low-impedance loads. The 3-state outputs allow connection to shared bus systems. Selection is ideal for low-voltage CMOS bus-oriented systems requiring high drive and low propagation delay. Applications include memory address drivers, backplane bus interfacing, data bus buffering in microprocessor-based designs, and peripheral driving in industrial controls, consumer electronics, and portable systems.
