The SN74LVC245A is an octal bus transceiver with 3-state outputs for bidirectional bus communication, operating from 1.65 V to 5.5 V supply . It features direction control (DIR) that determines data flow (A to B or B to A) and an output enable (OE) that disables both ports for bus isolation. The device features 5-V tolerant inputs for mixed-voltage translation and provides high output drive of ±24 mA at 3.3 V . Propagation delay is 3.5 ns typical at 3.3 V, and quiescent current is 20 µA maximum. Selection is ideal for low-voltage CMOS bus systems requiring bidirectional data transfer.
