The SN74LVC2G125 is a dual bus buffer gate with 3-state outputs and independent output enable pins (active-low), operating from 1.65V to 5.5V supply. It features 5V-tolerant inputs for mixed-voltage applications and provides high output drive capability of ±32mA at 5V with propagation delay of 3.1ns typical at 3.3V. Each buffer has its own output enable (OE) input: when OE is low, data passes to output; when OE is high, output is in high-impedance state. The device consumes ultra-low static power of 10µA maximum. Selection is ideal for bus-oriented systems requiring independent channel control in space-constrained designs. Applications include signal gating, bus interfacing, data transmission control, output isolation for power sequencing, and 2-bit level translation in portable electronics, smartphones, tablets, and wearable devices.
