The SN74LVCC4245A is an 8-bit dual-supply bidirectional bus transceiver specifically designed for 5V to 3.3V level translation. It operates with VCCA from 4.5V to 5.5V (5V supply) and VCCB from 2.7V to 3.6V (3.3V supply), providing seamless translation between 5V and 3.3V logic domains. The device features direction control (DIR) and output enable (OE) pins referenced to VCCA. It provides high output drive capability of ±24mA at 5V and ±15mA at 3.3V. Propagation delay is 5.6ns typical. Selection is optimal for mixed-voltage system interfacing requiring bidirectional 5V to 3.3V translation.
