The SN75175 is a quadruple differential line receiver designed for balanced digital data transmission, operating from a 4.75-V to 5.25-V single supply . It features high input impedance, ±15-kV ESD protection on bus pins, and a common-mode input voltage range of –7 V to +12 V . The device includes failsafe circuitry for open, shorted, or idle bus conditions and is compatible with RS-422 and RS-485 standards. Packaged in a 16-pin SOIC (D) (9.9 mm × 3.91 mm), the SN75175 is ideal for industrial and telecom differential data reception, high-speed data acquisition systems, industrial control networks, and motor control encoder feedback requiring reliable differential line receiving.
