ST3232ECDR ST Drivers and Receivers

The ST3232ECDR is a 3V to 5.5V powered RS-232 transceiver from STMicroelectronics in SO-16 package, featuring two drivers and two receivers with enhanced ESD protection for robust industrial communication. For selection, verify single 3V to 5.5V supply, data rate up to 250 kbps, 300 µA supply current, ESD protection ±15 kV HBM and ±8 kV IEC 1000-4-2 contact discharge on RS-232 pins, meets TIA/EIA-232-F standards, and operating temperature from -40°C to +85°C. Features include proprietary low-dropout transmitter output stage, low power consumption with 1 µA shutdown current, and requires only four 0.1 µF external capacitors.
