STTH806DTI ST Fast Recovery Diode

The STTH806DTI is a hyperfast high-voltage rectifier from STMicroelectronics in insulated TO-220AC package, consisting of two 300V dice in series for 600V repetitive peak reverse voltage and 8A average forward current, specially suited as boost diode in continuous mode PFC . For selection, verify hyperfast recovery current to compete with SiC devices, internal ceramic insulated with 2500V RMS isolation, static and dynamic equilibrium of internal diodes warranted by design, and operating junction temperature up to 150°C. Features include designed for high di/dt operation, allows downsizing of MOSFET and heatsinks, and very low reverse recovery time of 13ns typical. Ideal for power factor correction (PFC) boost stages in AC-DC converters for high-efficiency power supplies, hard switching conditions, and any 600V high-frequency power conversion requiring hyperfast recovery.
