TCA6408APWR TI I/O Expanders

The TCA6408A is an 8-bit remote I2C low-power I/O expander with interrupt output and configuration registers, operating from 1.65V to 5.5V. It supports I2C bus speeds up to 400kHz (Fast Mode). The device provides eight GPIO pins that can be independently configured as inputs or outputs with built-in pull-up resistors. An open-drain interrupt output signals input changes. Three address pins allow up to eight devices on the same bus. Packaged in 16-pin TSSOP. Selection is optimal for expanding GPIO capability of microcontrollers. Applications include portable electronics, server management, industrial controls, telecom equipment, and button/LED control requiring additional I/O lines.
