TCA9511ADGKR TI Signal Buffers, Repeaters, Splitters

The TCA9511ADGKR is a 2-bit bidirectional hot-swappable I2C bus and SMBus buffer from Texas Instruments, operating over a supply voltage range of 2.3V to 5.5V. The device provides 1V precharge on all SDA and SCL lines, preventing data corruption during live insertion of I/O cards into backplanes. It features bidirectional buffering that isolates bus capacitance, accommodating standard mode and fast mode I2C devices with a maximum frequency of 400kHz. The device supports clock stretching, arbitration, synchronization, and includes an open-drain READY output pin indicating connection status. It features powered-off high-impedance I2C pins and an enable pin for shutdown mode to reduce power consumption. Housed in an 8-pin VSSOP (DGK) package, it operates over -40°C to 125°C.
