TCA9517DGKR TI Signal Buffers, Repeaters, Splitters
The TCA9517 is a level-shifting I2C bus repeater supporting bidirectional voltage translation between 0.8V to 5.5V on A-side and 2.2V to 5.5V on B-side. It supports standard mode (100kHz) and fast mode (400kHz) I2C speeds. The device buffers both SDA and SCL signals, allowing two buses of up to 550pF to be connected without performance degradation. Lockup-free operation and powered-off high-impedance I2C bus pins are included. Packaged in 8-pin VSSOP. Selection is ideal for extending I2C bus reach and isolating bus capacitance with voltage translation. Applications include servers, routers, telecom switching equipment, industrial control systems, and applications with many I2C targets requiring voltage translation.
