TCA9534PWR TI I/O Expanders

The TCA9534 is an 8-bit remote I2C low-power I/O expander with interrupt output and configuration registers. It operates from 1.65V to 5.5V and supports I2C bus speeds up to 400kHz (Fast Mode). The device provides eight general-purpose I/O pins that can be independently configured as inputs or outputs, with built-in pull-up resistors on each I/O. An open-drain interrupt output signals input changes, reducing host polling overhead. The TCA9534 includes polarity inversion registers and features low standby current of 40µA maximum. Three address pins allow up to eight devices on the same bus (64 total I/Os). Selection is optimal for expanding GPIO capabilities of microcontrollers with limited I/O pins.
