TCA9535RTWR TI I/O Expanders

The TCA9535RTWR is a 16-bit I²C-bus and SMBus I/O expander from Texas Instruments featuring 16 general-purpose I/O pins programmable as input or output. It operates over a supply range of 1.65V to 5.5V and supports both 100 kHz and 400 kHz clock frequencies. The device includes interrupt output for change detection, open-drain active-low reset input, and supports multiple device addresses for up to eight devices on the same bus. Housed in a 24-pin WQFN (RTW) package, it operates over -40°C to 85°C. Applications include GPIO expansion for microcontrollers, push-button sensing, LED control, keypad scanning, and industrial control systems.
