TCA9802DGKR TI Signal Buffers, Repeaters, Splitters
The TCA9802 is a level-shifting I2C bus repeater with bidirectional voltage translation, operating from 0.8V to 3.6V on A-side and 2.2V to 5.5V on B-side. It supports standard mode (100kHz) and fast mode (400kHz) I2C speeds. The device buffers both SDA and SCL signals, allowing two buses of up to 400pF to be connected without performance degradation. Lockup-free operation and powered-off high-impedance I2C bus pins are included. The TCA9802 includes static offset voltage for improved noise margin. Packaged in 8-pin VSSOP. Selection is ideal for extending I2C bus reach and isolating bus capacitance in low-voltage systems.
