The TCAN1042HGVDRQ1 is an automotive-grade (AEC-Q100 Grade 1) high-speed CAN FD transceiver from Texas Instruments, compliant with ISO 11898-2:2016 physical layer standards. The 'G' option supports classical CAN and CAN FD (flexible data-rate) up to 5 Mbps, while all devices support up to 2 Mbps. The 'V' suffix indicates a VIO pin for I/O level shifting supporting 3.3-V and 5-V microcontrollers. Key features include an I/O voltage range for 3.3-V and 5-V MCU support, low-power standby mode with remote wake-up request, and ideal passive behavior when unpowered with bus and logic pins in high-impedance state.
