The TCAN1042HVDR is a high-speed CAN FD transceiver from Texas Instruments compliant with ISO 11898-2:2016 standards. The 'H' version features enhanced drive capability and ±70-V bus fault protection. It supports classical CAN and CAN FD data rates up to 2 Mbps. The device includes a low-power standby mode, remote wake-up capability, thermal shutdown protection, and I/O level shifting support for 3.3-V and 5-V MCUs. Housed in an 8-pin SOIC (D) package, it operates over -40°C to 150°C.
