TCAN1044AVDRQ1 TI Transceivers

The TCAN1044AVDRQ1 is an automotive-grade, AEC-Q100 Grade 1 qualified high-speed CAN FD transceiver from Texas Instruments, meeting the ISO 11898-2:2016 physical layer standard. Supporting both classical CAN and CAN FD with data rates up to 8 Mbps, the device features short and symmetrical propagation delays for enhanced timing margin. Its VIO pin enables internal logic level translation, allowing direct interfacing to 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, or 5V controllers. Robust protection features include ±58V bus fault protection, undervoltage detection, TXD-dominant time-out, and thermal shutdown. With a low-power standby mode, remote CAN wake-up compliant to ISO 11898-2:2016 WUP, and a wide –40°C to +150°C operating range, this half-duplex 1/1 transceiver in an 8-pin SOIC package is ideal for automotive body control modules, vehicle gateways, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), infotainment systems, powertrain and chassis control, as well as industrial CAN/CAN FD communication networks.
