The TCAN1463DMTRQ1 is an automotive-grade (AEC-Q100) CAN FD transceiver from Texas Instruments with wake and inhibit/sleep functionality . It meets the ISO 11898-2:2016 physical layer standards and supports classical CAN and CAN FD data rates up to 8 Mbps . The device features a wide input operational voltage range, VIO level shifting for direct interface to 3.3-V and 5-V microcontrollers, and includes five operating modes for flexible power management . The high-voltage INH output provides system power control, and local wake-up support via the WAKE pin and remote wake-up via CAN bus are included . Protection features include ±58-V CAN bus fault tolerance, load dump support, undervoltage protection, thermal shutdown protection, and TXD dominant state timeout . Housed in a 14-pin VSON (DMT) package with wettable flanks, it operates over -40°C to 150°C .
