TCAN3414DR TI Drivers, Receivers, Transceivers
The TCAN3414DR is a 3.3-V CAN FD transceiver from Texas Instruments, electrically identical to the TCAN3414DDFR but packaged in an 8-pin SOIC (D) package. It is fully compatible with the ISO 11898-2:2016 high-speed CAN specification and supports classical CAN and CAN FD data rates up to 5 Mbps, with up to 8 Mbps in simpler networks. The device features a low-power standby mode supporting remote wake-up request and an ultra-low power shutdown mode. Protection features include ±58-V bus fault protection, ±10-kV IEC ESD protection, undervoltage protection, TXD-dominant time-out, and thermal-shutdown protection. Housed in an 8-pin SOIC (D) package, it operates over -40°C to 125°C. Applications include industrial automation, automotive CAN FD networks, battery management systems, and any 3.3-V CAN system requiring high-speed FD operation.
