TDC7200PWR TI Timer/Clock Generators
The TDC7200 is a time-to-digital converter (TDC) with two stop channels and a 12.5-ps resolution (single-shot) and 55-ps RMS standard deviation, operating from a 2.3-V to 3.6-V supply. It features a 500-ns to 8-ms measurement range, automatic multi-cycle averaging (up to 128 cycles) for improved precision, and a 5-µA standby current. The device includes an internal 20-MHz clock oscillator, an SPI interface, and a 25-Mbps output data rate. Packaged in a 16-pin TSSOP (PW) (5 mm × 4.4 mm), it is specifically optimized for laser range finding and distance measurement systems (LiDAR), flow metering (heat/cold/water), ultrasonic sensing, medical imaging (PET), and industrial position sensing requiring high-precision time interval measurement.
