The TDES4940RURT is a high-performance V3Link Enhanced Video to DisplayPort (DP) / Embedded DisplayPort (eDP) bridge deserializer from Texas Instruments . It receives a high-speed serialized interface over low-cost 50Ω coaxial or STP/STQ cables and converts it to DP/eDP output, supporting up to 27 Gbps over dual channels . The device is VESA DP v1.4a/eDP v1.4b compliant and supports HBR3 link bit rates up to 8.1 Gbps per lane, 1, 2, or 4 main link lanes, and video resolutions of 4K at 60fps with 30-bit color and higher . It features adaptive receiver equalization, spread spectrum clock generation (SSCG) for EMI reduction, ultra-low latency control channel with dual fast-mode plus I2C up to 1 MHz, and integrated HDCP v1.4 with on-chip keys . Security and diagnostic features include voltage and temperature monitoring, BIST and pattern generation, CRC and error diagnostics, and ECC on control bits . Housed in an 88-pin VQFNP (RUR) package (12mm × 12mm) , it operates over -20°C to 85°C .
