TEMD5110X01 VISHAY Photodiodes
The TEMD5110X01 from Vishay is a high-speed, high-sensitivity silicon PIN photodiode in a miniature surface-mount top-view package, purpose-built for infrared detection and data transmission. For selection, it delivers a 7.5 mm² radiant sensitive area, 940 nm peak sensitivity with a daylight-blocking filter matched to 870–950 nm IR emitters, fast 100 ns rise/fall times, ±65° half-sensitivity angle, 60 V reverse breakdown voltage, and 215 mW power dissipation over −40 °C to +100 °C. AEC-Q101 qualification and MSL 4 rating suit automotive and industrial environments. In application, it serves high-speed IR detectors, infrared remote control, free-air data transmission systems (paired with Vishay TSFFxxxx emitters), optical encoders, proximity sensors, smoke detectors, and industrial automation where compact SMD footprint and reliable infrared photodetection are essential.
