The TFP401AMPZPEP is an enhanced-product (EP) PanelBus™ DVI (Digital Visual Interface) receiver from Texas Instruments, fully compliant with DVI 1.0 specifications and designed for high-reliability, high-temperature applications. It supports pixel clock rates up to 165 MHz, enabling resolutions up to UXGA (1600 × 1200) at 60 Hz, including 1080p and WUXGA. The device integrates 24-bit color depth output (true-color, 16.7M colors), 4:4:4 color space, and high-speed serialized TMDS inputs with PLL-based clock recovery for jitter-free performance. Key features include laser-trimmed internal termination resistors for optimum fixed impedance matching, skew tolerance up to one pixel-clock cycle, reduced power consumption with 1.8-V core operation and 3.3-V I/Os, and reduced ground bounce using time-staggered pixel outputs. Housed in a 100-pin HTQFP (PZP) PowerPAD™ package for enhanced thermal dissipation, it operates over -55°C to 125°C (EP extended temperature range).
