The THS6222IRGTR is a differential line-driver amplifier with a current-feedback architecture from Texas Instruments, manufactured using a proprietary high-speed silicon-germanium (SiGe) process . It is designed for use in broadband, high-speed power line communications (HPLC) applications that require high linearity when driving heavy line loads. The device operates over a supply range of 8V to 32V and features a large-signal bandwidth of 195 MHz (16 VPP), a high slew rate of 5500 V/µs, and a wide output swing of 57 VPP (100Ω load) at 32-V supplies . It delivers high output current of over 400 mA, low distortion (HD2: -80 dBc, HD3: -90 dBc at 1 MHz), and includes an integrated midsupply common-mode buffer. The amplifier features adjustable power modes (full/mid/low bias) and a low-power shutdown mode for power savings in time-division multiplexed (TDM) systems. Housed in a 24-pin VQFN (RGT) package with an exposed thermal pad, it operates over -40°C to 85°C .
