The THVD1424 is a robust RS-485 transceiver with ±18-kV IEC ESD protection, operating from a 4.5-V to 5.5-V supply. It supports data rates up to 50 Mbps and features a 1/8 unit-load receiver allowing up to 256 nodes on a single bus. The device includes fail-safe receiver output for open, shorted, or idle buses and a wide common-mode range of -7 V to +12 V for noise immunity. The THVD1424 operates from -40°C to 125°C. Packaged in a 16-pin VQFN (RGT) (3 mm × 3 mm), this transceiver is ideal for industrial communication networks requiring high-speed data transmission.
