The THVD1450 is a half-duplex RS-485 transceiver with a 3.3-V to 5-V supply, supporting data rates up to 50-Mbps. It features a 1/8 unit-load receiver allowing up to 256 nodes on a single bus, a wide common-mode range of -7-V to +12-V, failsafe receiver output for open, shorted, or idle buses, and ±18-kV IEC ESD protection on bus pins. Packaged in an 8-pin VSSOP (DGK), it is ideal for industrial communication networks requiring high speed and robust protection.
