The THVD1450 is a robust half-duplex RS-485 transceiver supporting data rates up to 50 Mbps, operating from a 3-V to 5.5-V supply . It features a 1/8 unit-load receiver allowing up to 256 nodes on a single bus, a wide common-mode range of –7 V to +12 V, and failsafe receiver output for open, shorted, or idle buses . The device includes ±18-kV IEC ESD protection on bus pins and a receiver hysteresis of 30 mV for noise immunity . Operating temperature range is –40°C to 125°C. Packaged in an 8-pin VSON (DRB) (3 mm × 3 mm) with wettable flanks for automated optical inspection . Ideal for industrial communication networks, the THVD1450 is suited for factory automation (PLCs), building automation, motor drives, solar inverters, and HVAC systems.
