The THVD1452 is a half-duplex RS-485 transceiver with a 3.3-V to 5-V supply, supporting data rates up to 50 Mbps. It features a 1/8 unit-load receiver allowing up to 256 nodes on a single bus, a wide common-mode range of -7 V to +12 V, and failsafe receiver output for open, shorted, or idle buses. The device includes ±18-kV IEC ESD protection on bus pins. Packaged in a 10-pin VSSOP (DGS) (3 mm × 3 mm), it is ideal for industrial communication networks.
