The THVD1510 is a robust half-duplex RS-485 transceiver with ±18-kV IEC ESD protection, supporting data rates up to 10 Mbps. It operates from a 4.5-V to 5.5-V supply and features a 1/8 unit-load receiver allowing up to 256 nodes on a single bus. The device includes failsafe receiver output for open, shorted, or idle buses and a wide common-mode range of –7 V to +12 V. Packaged in an 8-pin VSSOP (DGK), it is ideal for industrial communication networks requiring high speed and robust protection.
