The THVD2450DRBR is a 5-V RS-485 transceiver from Texas Instruments supporting data rates up to 50 Mbps. It features a wide common-mode voltage range of -7V to +12V, bus-pin ESD protection exceeding 15 kV, and 1/8-unit load allowing up to 256 nodes on the bus. The device includes a fail-safe receiver, low-power shutdown mode, and thermal shutdown protection. Housed in an 8-pin SON (DRB) package, it operates over -40°C to 125°C.
