TIP125 ST Bipolar (BJT)
The TIP125 is a PNP Darlington bipolar power transistor in TO-220-3 through-hole package, featuring 60V collector-emitter voltage, 5A continuous collector current, and 2000mW power dissipation . For selection, verify very high DC current gain (hFE) due to Darlington configuration, collector-emitter saturation voltage of 2.5V max at 5A, integrated base-emitter resistors for improved stability, and operating junction temperature from -65°C to +150°C . Features include Darlington configuration for very high current gain, low saturation voltage for reduced conduction losses, built-in clamp diode for inductive load protection, and complementary NPN type TIP120. Ideal for relay and solenoid drivers, stepper motor drivers, high-current lamp and LED drivers, linear and switching power applications, and any load driving requiring high current gain from low-current logic outputs.
