TIP32C ST Bipolar (BJT)
The TIP32C is a silicon epitaxial-base PNP power transistor from STMicroelectronics in TO-220 plastic package, designed for medium power linear and switching applications with complementary NPN type TIP31C . For selection, verify collector-emitter sustaining voltage VCEO of 100V (minimum), continuous collector current of 3A, collector-emitter saturation voltage of 1.2V maximum at IC=3A, DC current gain hFE from 10 to 50 at 1A, transition frequency fT of 3MHz minimum at IC=500mA, power dissipation of 40W with proper heatsinking, and operating junction temperature from -65°C to +150°C . Features include compact TO-220 package with collector connected to metal tab (requires insulation during mounting), excellent current gain bandwidth product, and Pb-free option.
