The TL081 is a single JFET-input operational amplifier with 3-MHz gain-bandwidth product and 13-V/μs slew rate, operating from 7 V to 36 V single supply (or ±3.5 V to ±18 V dual). JFET inputs provide ultra-low input bias current of 20 pA typical and low input offset voltage of 3 mV. The device consumes 1.4 mA supply current typical and features total harmonic distortion of 0.003% typical. Packaged in an 8-pin PDIP for through-hole mounting, the TL081 is ideal for applications requiring high input impedance with minimal circuit loading. Applications include audio preamplifiers, active filters, integrators, sample-and-hold circuits, and instrumentation amplifiers in test equipment and industrial controls requiring JFET-input performance.
