TL16C554IFNR TI UARTs (Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter)

TL16C554IFNR is a quad universal asynchronous receiver-transmitter (UART) with integrated 16-byte transmit and receive FIFOs from Texas Instruments, targeted at multi-channel asynchronous serial communication. It provides four fully independent full-duplex UART channels, supporting programmable baud rates up to 1 Mbps, programmable parity, stop bits and data word lengths, plus false start bit detection and hardware flow control to enhance link reliability. The 16-level FIFOs drastically reduce CPU interrupt loads and improve overall system throughput. It operates on 4.75 V to 5.25 V supply voltage and works stably across the -40 °C to 85 °C industrial temperature range, housed in a 68-pin PLCC package.
