TL2844BDR-8 TI DC DC Switching Controllers

The TL2844B is a current-mode PWM controller with low start-up current, operating from 10 V to 30 V supply. It features a trimmed oscillator for accurate frequency control, a 1-A totem-pole output for driving power MOSFETs, and UVLO with 16-V on threshold and 10-V off hysteresis. The device includes low start-up current (0.5 mA typical), cycle-by-cycle current limiting, and thermal protection. Operating temperature range is –40 °C to 85 °C. Packaged in an 8-pin SOIC, it is designed for off-line and DC-DC converter applications. Applications include AC-DC adapters, battery chargers, isolated telecom power supplies, and industrial power converters requiring efficient current-mode control with low start-up power.
