The TL494 is a fixed-frequency pulse-width-modulation (PWM) control circuit for switching power supplies, operating from a 7-V to 40-V supply. It features a 5-V reference, two 200-mA totem-pole outputs for push-pull or single-ended topologies, and variable dead-time control. Packaged in a 16-pin SO (NS) (5.3 mm × 6.2 mm), it is standard for PWM control in off-line and DC-DC converter designs.
