TLC555QDRQ1 TI Programmable Timers and Oscillators
The TLC555-Q1 is an automotive-grade CMOS version of the industry-standard 555 timer, qualified for AEC-Q100. It operates from 2 V to 15 V supply and consumes only 360-µA typical quiescent current (1/10 of bipolar 555). The device provides a 2.1-MHz maximum frequency and 100-mA output drive capability. It features adjustable duty cycle and requires significantly lower timing capacitor values due to high input impedance. Packaged in an 8-pin SOIC, it is ideal for battery-powered automotive timing applications requiring low power consumption. Applications include precision timing and oscillation in body control modules, pulse generation, frequency division, missing pulse detection, and low-power LED flashers for interior lighting.
