The TLIN10283DRBRQ1 is an automotive-grade (AEC-Q100) Local Interconnect Network (LIN) transceiver with an integrated low-dropout (LDO) voltage regulator from Texas Instruments. It complies with the LIN 2.2A and ISO/DIS 17987-4 standards, as well as the SAE J2602 recommended practice for LIN applications. The integrated LDO provides a 3.3V or 5V voltage rail capable of supplying up to 125mA (DRB package) to a power microprocessor, sensor, or other devices, reducing system complexity. The device features optimized current-limited waveform shaping drivers to reduce electromagnetic emissions (EME). The receiver converts data stream to logic-level signals sent to the microprocessor via the open-drain RXD pin. Support is provided for waking up via LIN bus or local wake-up through the EN pin. Protection features include ±58V LIN bus fault protection, VSUP undervoltage protection, TXD dominant timeout (DTO) protection, thermal shutdown, and system-level unpowered node or ground disconnection fail-safe. Housed in an 8-pin VSON (DRB) package, it operates over -40°C to 125°C. Applications include automotive body electronics, lighting modules, door modules, seat control modules, and any LIN bus network requiring an integrated voltage regulator.
