It operates from a 2.5-V to 16-V input and features a quiescent current of 80-µA typical, a dropout voltage of 750-mV max at 500-mA, and high PSRR of 70-dB at 1-kHz. The device includes an enable pin, current limiting, and thermal protection. Packaged in an 8-pin VSON (DRB) (3 mm × 3 mm) with wettable flanks, it is ideal for automotive body electronics and industrial power rails.
