TMDS181RGZR is a high-performance HDMI 2.0 TMDS retimer developed by Texas Instruments for high-definition video signal conditioning and long cable transmission. It features four main TMDS channels, ARC audio interface and standard DDC communication lines, supporting a maximum data rate of 6Gbps per lane to deliver 4K@60Hz 24-bit and WUXGA video resolutions. It automatically switches between redriver mode for low-speed signals below 1Gbps and retimer mode for HDMI 2.0 high-speed signals above 1Gbps. Integrated adaptive equalization, clock data recovery and multi-bit skew compensation effectively suppress jitter and signal attenuation. Programmable via I2C or pin configuration, it works from 0°C to 85°C.
