TMUX1308QPWRQ1 TI Analog Switches, Multiplexers, Demultiplexers

The TMUX1308QPWRQ1 is an automotive-grade (AEC-Q100) 8:1 single-channel (single-ended) analog multiplexer, qualified for Grade 1 operation from -40°C to 125°C. It operates over a wide supply voltage range of 1.62V to 5.5V and features internal injection current control, eliminating the need for external diodes and resistor networks to protect the switch. The device provides reverse supply protection and has no internal ESD diode path to VDD, eliminating the risk of damaging components connected to power pins or providing unintended power to supply rails. Key features include low capacitance, bidirectional signal paths, rail-to-rail operation, 1.8V logic compatible thresholds, fail-safe logic, break-before-make switching, and battery short protection. The TMUX1308-Q1 is pin compatible with the industry standard 4051 and 4851 multiplexers. Housed in a 16-pin TSSOP (PW) package, it operates over -40°C to 125°C with AEC-Q100 qualification. Applications include automotive sensor interfaces, body control modules, battery management systems, and any automotive system requiring high-reliability analog multiplexing with injection current control.
