The TPD8S300 is an 8-channel ESD protection device for HDMI and USB interfaces, featuring integrated rail-clamp circuitry and 2.5-Ω termination resistance. It provides protection up to ±8-kV contact discharge per IEC 61000-4-2 on each I/O line and includes level-shifting for the DDC bus. The device operates with a 5-V supply and supports high-speed signals up to 3.4 Gbps. Ultra-low capacitance ensures minimal impact on signal integrity. Packaged in a 20-pin WQFN (RUK) (3 mm × 3 mm), the TPD8S300 is ideal for protecting HDMI source and sink ports.
