TPS2062CDR TI Power Distribution Switches, Load Drivers

The TPS2062C is a dual-channel power-distribution switch designed for USB and other hot-swap applications requiring current limiting. It operates from 2.7V to 5.5V and provides two independent 1.5A current-limited power switches. The device features accurate current limiting (0.9A to 2.5A typical), thermal shutdown with auto-retry, and undervoltage lockout. Each channel provides fault reporting via open-drain flag outputs, signaling overcurrent or overtemperature conditions. The TPS2062C features 70mΩ typical on-resistance per channel and supports reverse voltage protection. Selection is ideal for USB bus-powered devices requiring dual downstream ports with individual power control. Applications include USB downstream ports on desktop and notebook computers, power muxing in portable electronics, industrial control systems, and power-sequencing circuits requiring protected power distribution with fault indication.
